Captain David Myrick, a US Coast Guard licensed captain, has been fishing the waters in and around Carrabelle and Franklin County for the last fifty years of his life as well as guiding and captaining for the past fifteen years.
In our present economy, he is offering reasonable rates for full day or half-day in-shore and off-shore charter fishing. Bait, tackle, ice and license are provided, although you are welcome to bring your own. His boats can accommodate up to 4-people off-shore and up to 3-people in the bay. Packages can be as simple as providing the boat and guide, providing boat, guide, tackle and license….just bring what you want to eat or drink for the day, or guiding your boat. We also can provide a package that includes housing for up to 6-people.
If you are not a fisher person, we offer eco-tour packages of the rivers and marshes. Dolphin and eagles are abundant in the area and often seen with ease. Also shelling is available on Dog Island, a bird sanctuary, just out from the mouth of the Carrabelle River.
